1. The service
RaccoonDown is a free Windows program that saves publicly available videos, photos and audio to your PC. Features may be added, changed or removed without notice.
2. Your responsibilities
- Copyright and personality rights in saved content remain with the original creators. Any use beyond personal, private viewing — redistribution, commercial use — must follow each site's terms and applicable law, and is your responsibility.
- Sign in to sites only with your own accounts.
- We cannot vouch for modified builds or installers obtained anywhere other than this website.
3. No warranty
RaccoonDown is provided “as is”. Sites change their policies and structure; a feature may stop working, and we are not liable for resulting loss.
4. Open source
RaccoonDown bundles several open-source components. The full licences are in the “licenses” folder of the installation.
5. Advertising
Ads may be shown inside the program in the future. They never block usage; clicking them is entirely your choice.
