Yes. Sign in to Instagram (or X, Pinterest) once from Settings. The sign-in window is the site's own official page; RaccoonDown never stores your username or password.
By default into Downloads › RaccoonDown, sorted by site › account › section (Stories, posts…). Change the location any time from Settings or the left menu.
The default is “Best quality (MP4 · plays anywhere)”. Pick a resolution from “Options” in the popup or on the download screen, and it's remembered. Use “Audio only” for MP3.
Only if you opt in during installation: an anonymous install ID and aggregate counts such as “how many downloads per site”. Never links, titles, file names or IP addresses. See the privacy policy.
